HRL40-12 (F Type) is a 12V valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery from B.B. Battery's HRL series, renowned for its reliability and wide applicability. This battery uses an opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic case, with the battery cover securely connected to the case. The terminal area is sealed to ensure excellent leak-proof performance. The six filling holes on the top are used to fill the electrolyte during production, followed by the installation of a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials, which provides high-level fire and explosion safety protection for the battery, enabling it to operate safely and stably in various environments. In terms of internal structure, the positive and negative plates of the HRL40-12 battery are coated with specially formulated paste-like active materials, combined with Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology. This technology not only enables efficient internal gas recombination, making the battery maintenance-free (no need for water addition), but also ensures no free acid, fundamentally eliminating the risk of leakage. This design gives the battery a very low self-discharge rate, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, which significantly extends the storage life. The battery has very flexible installation methods, supporting horizontal and vertical installation (except for inversion), providing great convenience for equipment integration. HRL40-12 is specifically designed for high-rate discharge scenarios and can provide excellent specific output power in short-time discharge modes. Its discharge power ranges from 132 to 5205 watts per unit, making it particularly suitable for occasions requiring instantaneous high-current support. Compared with similar products, its power density at discharge rates of 5 to 15 minutes is significantly improved, about 30% higher than the traditional BP series, which makes it particularly outstanding in systems with shorter backup time requirements. It is recommended to use it in applications where the backup time does not exceed 60 minutes. The standard capacity of this battery is 38 ampere-hours (10-hour rate, C10), with dimensions of 195 mm in length, 129 mm in width, 168 mm in height, and a weight of approximately 12.1 kilograms.The terminal type is standard B7, and I2 type terminals can also be optionally equipped to meet different connection requirements. With an expected service life of up to 12 years (according to Eurobat standards), HRL40-12 is an ideal power solution for numerous key systems and equipment.
